That covers Macros
So what you are saying is if you buy say the Zboard with facions key set and use say the dance emote button you violate the EULA? Doesnt seem right as there is a link to the Zboard website on the GW website.

No, it doesn't violate it. These people are knit-picking. It's been established time and time again (and supported by responses straight from ANet) that ANet doesn't have a problem with keyboard macros, so just drop it. There's a big difference between a keyboard macro and automation of gameplay behavior. A keyboard macro cannot make a decision - it's just a combination of keystrokes. Yes, the EULA is vague, but the responses from ANet are not. They don't care about keyboard macros. Period. Sheesh.

Although I generally use the LCD on my G15 to display info that isn't currently on my monitor (the current time, CPU temp, etc.) I don't see why it would be a bad thing to have a Guild Wars plug-in. I've used one of the unofficial Guild Wars plug-ins, and although I didn't find it all that useful it's a very simple task and would not take much in the way of development resources (a decent programmer could write one in their spare time over a day or two...and they have, it's just not officially accepted by ANet).

So, why would you vote "no"? Do you enjoy the thought of people being denied something that they want? That's just silliness.

It would be nice to have the LCD do something a little more useful for GW. Even a better RSS that shows only the single most recent Game Update and scrolls down it so you can read it all.... It would be snazzy if the skill info popped onto the LCD when you clicked/hovered it instead of appearing when you hover over your toolbar in combat. If wishes were fishes...

Ain't got one of these keyboards, but might get one having read reviews thanks to this thread. Either way, can't see why it can't be supported by GW. Macros aside, there are plenty of things you could benifit from with this KB.

Although I don't see much practical use... all the game info you need to see is already on your screen. I'll leave mine set with Vent and Foobar info only.

I would love to have certain info displayed on my LCD so I could get rid of some of the stuff on my screen for more visibility.

Like previously said, I dont see a practical use for it as I usually leave mine set on vent, but like also previously said, cant hurt to get the most out of my investment.

Bought one recently, was about to try something myself with the SDK, but this would be even better... /signed. (and besides that, the G15 allready recognized a guild wars profile).

If you use one of these wonderful keyboards, or plan on acquiring one in the future, please sign this petition. Hopefully we can grab their attention, and one day see the keyboard supported by a game we all love and enjoy.

ANet is a business. What is in it for ANet to support this particular gaming keyboard? If they were receiving some sort of subsidy from Logitech or were an affiliate, I could understand, but that isn't the case.

Would *you* be willing to flip the bill for the programmer necessary to support this particular peripheral? I sure wouldn't.
